The Library on behalf of the University has signed up to a number of open access agreements with publishers. These give staff and postgraduate corresponding authors a range of discounts on open access publication charges.

The ‘Read & Publish’ deals facilitate publication at no cost to the author. Also, UKRI funded authors are usually eligible to have their open access costs covered for publishers where a transitional deal is not in place.

Mae'r Llyfrgell wedi cofrestru am nifer o gytundebau mynediad agored â chyhoeddwyr, ar ran y Brifysgol. Mae'r rhain yn rhoi amrywiaeth o ddisgowntiau ar daliadau cyhoeddi mynediad agored i staff ac awduron cyfatebol ôl-raddedig.

Mae'r cytundebau 'Darllen a Chyhoeddi' yn hwyluso cyhoeddi heb gost i'r awdur. Hefyd, bydd awduron a ariennir gan yr UKRI fel arfer yn gymwys i gael eu costau mynediad agored wedi'u talu ar gyfer cyhoeddwyr lle nad oes cytundeb pontio ar waith.
