An introduction to citation databases and other metrics to help you see where your research is making an impact – Includes overview of Scopus/Scival, and Altmetrics  

Metrics are increasingly used as part of the Research Assessment process, and it's important to be aware of benefits and disadvantages to their use. This session aims to introduce students to the different types of metrics, and discuss the ethics around their use. 

The course will run from 10.00 – 11.00. This training will be held via Zoom, you will be sent a Meeting Link prior to the event. Please ensure you register with your Swansea University email account
