This session aims to explore the current state of academic publishing focusing primarily on Journal Articles, and the transition currently underway towards Open Access.
This will include;
- How the current model works between publishers, institutions, libraries and researchers
- Why change is necessary
- what we define Open Access as and how it is being embedded in academia at every stage from funders to the REF.
