Want to learn more about Open Access publishing at Swansea University? Join us for the Game of Open Access

The aim is to to engage researchers with the key concepts and tools required to meet Open Access mandates from Swansea University, UK Government, and Funders.

It aims to develop an understanding of the role of Open Access through the initial idea for an article to its acceptance for publication, and enable discussions about the pros and cons of open access publishing.

Playing the game will help make it easier to navigate the maze of where to find help, what is the difference between Gold and Green Open Access, who pays for Gold (the library or the school) and does their school actually have an OA policy - all while providing chances to win chocolate!
